VIOSO had the privilege to support Turnstone and Wizwave in their project for the Korean Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) to create a immersive 3D visualization theatre. The integrator used 13 Barco UDM 4k15 projectors running dual inputs to project onto a cylindrical and floor surface, measuring 9m in diameter, 3.5m in height and rounded corners.

Thanks to our full dome calibration kit with a fisheye lens, we were able to achieve perfect geometry despite the challenges of positioning, quintruple overlap, chromatic aberration, and glossy surfaces. The camera had a resolution of 3072x3072px and covered the entire surface. The calibration was then successfully applied in Dataton WATCHOUT, MiddleVR and WorldViz VR.
